Livia Drusilla, after 14 AD called Julia Augusta (Classical Latin: LIVIA•DRVSILLA, IVLIA•AVGVSTA) (58 BC-29 AD) was a Roman empress as the third wife of the Emperor Augustus and one of the most powerful women in the Roman Empire, being Augustus' faithful advisor. She was also mother to Drusus and Tiberius, grandmother to Germanicus and Claudius, great-grandmother to Caligula and Agrippina the Younger and great-great-grandmother to Nero. She was deified by Claudius who acknowledged her title of Augusta. Portrait of Livia in Egyptian basalt, ca. 31 BC, LouvreFrom Wikipedia under the

Q. i am working on my graduation project Asked by shevchenko - Wed Jun 11 02:40:34 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Rock Pigeons (doves) originated in the Eastern Hemisphere. Some of these pigeons were eventually domesticated by humans. Escaped domestic and racing/homing pigeons established populations in cities and towns. They were introduced to North America in the 1600's by Northern Europeans who settled in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Rock Pigeon is called the feathered rat by some. Although, the pigeon is highly prized for its speed and ability to return home by others. Their diet consists of mostly seeds, some greens, some insects, & fast food. Q. Is it open to the public? How do you get there? and how much does it cost to get in? Can you take photos inside? thanks. :) Asked by hapfut - Mon Nov 20 04:00:23 2006 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. It's in the Roman Forum. Take the Metro to the Colosseo, walk to the Forum (entrance free for that), go up to the Palatine Hill. Last time I spent 10 Euros for the Palatino, but it includes the admission to the Colosseum. You can go in and take pictures. Tip: Don't try to get the ticket at the Colosseum, you will wait for hours! There is usually no line for the Palatino, and once you get that ticket, you can walk right by the long Colosseum lines and right in.
