A. Titans were the first gods in Green and Roman Mythology. The leader(Kronos) like the ship was thought to be invinsable untill Zeus killed him and freed his siblings from Kronos stomach. The ship not only took its name from these Mythic creatures, but was also thought to be unsinkable, and was just as shocking to man as was the defeat of Kronos in legand, when it hit the iceberg and sunk.

A. He restored peace after 100 years of civil war; maintained an honest government and a sound currency system; extended the highway system connecting Rome with its far-flung empire; developed an efficient postal service; fostered free trade among the provinces; and built many bridges, aqueducts and buildings adorned with beautiful works of art created in the classical style. Literature flourished with writers including Virgil, Horace, Ovid, and Livy all living under the emperor s patronage. The empire expanded under Augustus with his generals subduing Spain, Gaul (now France), Panonia and Dalmatia (now parts of Hungary and Croatia). He annexed Egypt and most of southwestern Europe up to the Danube River.

What are the primary differences between the Roman Catholic and Episcopalian faiths?
Q. My boyfriend and I are both Roman Catholics but are interested in the Episcopalian church. We don't know much about the Episcopal faith, but have been told that it's very similar to the Roman Catholic church, but more "liberal". What are the differences in tradition, theology, and church doctrine?

A. You're right in that they are very similar. I'm trying to find more about the differences myself but only so I can be informed. I looove the Catholic faith and would never leave it, even for a denomination that is really similar. One difference I know of is that Episcopalians have open Communion. That means that anyone can receive Communion there, while the Catholic Church says you have to be Catholic to receive the Eucharist. That may seem mean and unfair, but it is not. First, we want to take precautions in that those receiving Communion know and have discerned what they are taking part in. 1 Corinthians 11:27 stresses the importance of this.
